Alloy Steel AISI 8630 is primarily made up of Carbon (0.28–0.33%), Manganese (0.40–0.70%), Chromium (0.40–0.60%), Nickel (0.40–0.70%), and Molybdenum (0.15–0.25%). This well-balanced composition offers excellent hardenability, strength, and toughness. The steel boasts a tensile strength of about 850–1000 MPa, a yield strength of around 650 MPa, and an elongation of 20%. Its Brinell hardness falls between 200 and 250 HB. Thanks to its unique blend of strength and ductility, AISI 8630 excels under high-stress and impact conditions.

Stainless Steel 410 Round Bars/Rod generally does not require additional corrosion protection coatings, as it offers moderate corrosion resistance due to its chromium content. However, in highly corrosive environments, coatings may enhance durability.
When selecting Stainless Steel 410 Round Bars/Rod, consider factors like strength requirements, corrosion resistance, heat treatment needs, and the specific application environment to ensure optimal performance and durability.
Stainless Steel 410 Round Bars/Rod is not ideal for hygienic and sanitary applications due to its moderate corrosion resistance. For such uses, higher grades like 304 or 316 are recommended for better resistance.
Alloy Steel AISI 8630 Bars and Rods find extensive use in the automotive, aerospace, oil and gas, and heavy machinery sectors. They are perfect for crafting components like gears, shafts, crankshafts, connecting rods, drill collars, and fasteners that demand exceptional toughness and fatigue resistance. The alloy’s superb machinability and weldability make it ideal for intricate engineering applications. Plus, its ability to maintain strength during heat treatment processes makes it a go-to choice for structural parts that face dynamic loads. Aung Metals provides AISI 8630 bars and rods that promise durability and performance in critical industrial settings.
