By adhering strictly to high standard quality and specifications, the aluminium solutions from this company extend to all other types including forgings such as Aluminium 1100 forgings , characterised by excellence in corrosion properties and very easily workable materials. Forgings that are especially strength and tough may be recommended in these industries of application: aerospace, car, construction. Aung Metals boasts precision-engineered products made to order, catering to specific client requirements. Their experience spans decades and they are known to be customer-friendly. They are the best aluminium forging solutions in the Myanmar.
Aluminium 1100 Forgings This alloy has 99% of pure aluminum in it. However, it does contain small proportions of copper in the range of 0.05-0.2%, iron 0.95%, silicon 0.25%, manganese 0.05-0.2%, magnesium 0.05%, and zinc 0.1%. The excellent corrosion resistance, along with high thermal and electrical conductivity and good workability, is ensured by this composition. The mechanical properties include tensile strength of 110-180 MPa, yield strength of 70 MPa, and an elongation of 30-40%. It has a Brinell hardness of 30-35 HB. It is good for use where high formability and good resistance to corrosion are needed but less strength is desirable than with other alloys.

Aluminum 1100 forging allows custom shapes like rings, discs, bars, flanges, stepped shafts, and intricate profiles, ideal for aerospace, automotive, and industrial applications requiring high corrosion resistance and ductility.
Aluminum 1100 is unsuitable for high-temperature forging applications due to its low melting point and poor strength at elevated temperatures, making it better suited for cold working or low-temperature uses.
Aluminum 1100 offers excellent corrosion resistance, high ductility, good thermal conductivity, lightweight properties, and exceptional workability, making it ideal for custom forgings requiring precise shapes and resistance to harsh environments.
These Aluminium 1100 Forgings find extensive use in chemical equipment, storage tanks, roofing, siding, and architectural projects, thanks to their impressive corrosion resistance and formability. They are also utilized in automotive panels, electrical components, and heat exchangers. The alloy’s unique combination of lightweight properties, high conductivity, and corrosion resistance makes it an ideal choice for industries looking for reliable, long-lasting aluminium components that can perform efficiently in both industrial and environmental settings.
